Isaac Man!

Isaac with best friend Dan before the big Redskins game!
Our water boy, he loves the ocean.

Well, our oldest is six. Two hands to count his age really makes it seem like the time flies! He is our little smarty. He is full of logic and curiosity and a desire to learn. He is the one when parked outside a locked building once asked me why we did not just go in, I replied "We can't because I do nto know how to get in, bud." So his answer to me is "Mommy the door is right there all we have to do is go in it." Oh the wisdom of a six year old.

He is constantly getting us with what he says. Like when we stood in line at the grocery store with an older women in front of us and a gray haired women at the checkout and he looked at the full cart of groceries and then looks up at me to say(loud and clear)"Mommy that is a lot of stuff for two old ladies." Why do they always speak louder and with greater clarity when they choose to say something that could embaress. He has also inquired as of late if mommys cry when the baby comes out of there tummy. When I told them yes it does hurt. He did not need further explanation all he had to say was "I knew I was glad I am a boy not a girl!" What do you say to that, it was hilarious and I was trying to drive!

He is also smart. I am in constant amazement of how quickly he learns and can grasp concepts, especially numbers. I started homeschooling him in kindergarten this year and he has already done more than I thought he would do in the whole year!

His other love is his daddy! When given the opportunity to share what he is thankful for he said his family first. Then he went on to say how he loves his dad, because he has fun with him, and his dad spends time with.

This is our little man in a nutshell. I could go on for a long time as he is the first child to capture my heart upon meeting him. He will always be my baby, whether he likes it or not. The most definitely is something special about every child and he gets the privilidge of being the first born.
